Parquets Dubeau Ltd. is a hardwood flooring manufacturer with 70 years of experience in premium quality products and service. In partnership with the Lauzon Group, Parquets Dubeau Ltd. is Canada’s largest hardwood flooring manufacturer.

Manufacturing process
Parquets Dubeau Ltd. begins by carefully selecting the raw lumber that will later become its finished product. Between tree and floor, wood strips are meticulously guided through a manufacturing process that combines skilled craftsmanship and state-of-the-art technology. Production planning is tailored to the needs of the customer.

Our Heritage

From sawmill to modern technology
In 1936, brothers Jules and William Dubeau began operating a sawmill in
St. Norbert, located 1 hour northeast of Montreal. In time, Dubeau Frères would honour the long-term vision of its founders by becoming Canada’s second oldest hardwood floor manufacturer.

In the 1960s, the company added an avant-garde touch by developing parquet products as an affordable alternative to its strip flooring line. After a major fire in 1978, the brothers rebuilt their facility and resumed operations under the name Parquets Dubeau Ltd. In the 1980s, the company introduced prefinished parquet. Finally, in 2006, Parquets Dubeau Ltd. introduced Dubeau Engineered Hardwood Flooring, an exclusive line of prefinished hardwood floors that are so smooth and solid, they can even be installed in the basement. Dubeau Engineered Hardwood Flooring is ideal for houses as well as condos. Designed to be glued down, Dubeau Engineered Hardwood Flooring is highly adaptable and can also be nailed, stapled or floated onto a variety of surfaces.

A partnership in excellence
In 2001, Parquets Dubeau Ltd. joined forces with Lauzon Enterprises Ltd. to become one of North America’s flooring industry leaders as well as being fully integrated. Control of the wood harvest and all subsequent stages of manufacturing allows for sound environmental practices such as the recycling of unused wood.
